The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, held today a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, whom he expressed his gratitude and of the people of Kosovo for the KFOR mission in Kosovo and NATO’s contribution to a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo.
Prime Minister Haradinaj on this occasion expressed secretary Stoltenberg respect and a special feeling for many NATO soldiers who lost their lives during their service in Kosovo in defense of peace and security in our country.
Further, Prime Minister Haradinaj informed Secretary Stoltenberg about the commitment of the Kosovo Government to the KSF transition process, assuring him that the transition of the KSF will be transparent and in close cooperation with NATO, for a professional, multiethnic, and credible army serving all of Kosovo’s citizens.
“This sovereign decision of Kosovo, which will be voted on December 14, contains in itself the vision and will of the citizens of Kosovo to preserve and defend Western values. The KSF will contribute to peace and stability in the region and beyond. Kosovo institutions will make sure to continue close co-operation with KFOR and NALT, as we share the same security concerns, interests and values, “said Prime Minister Haradinaj, in a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg.
