President Gjorgje Ivanov put his signature on a law granting partial amnesty to those involved in violent storming of parliament last year. The law was published in the official Gazette on Thursday.
The defendants in the April 27 parliament invasion were given a five-day deadline for amnesty application.
The parliament voted on December 18 to endorse the partial amnesty law. The law was adopted unanimously, and later signed by the head of state. The law comes into effect on the day of its publication in the Gazette.
